Cable pulling winches of RKW series may ideally be used in combination with cable pushers (type BKS), since the line speed of this type of winch is automatically adapted to the line speed of the cable pusher.
PIPE RENEWAL WINCHES UP TO 40 TONS WITH AUTOMATIC HOLD-ON
( STATIC PULL ) SYSTEM
The required line pull is pre-selected via the hydraulic oil pump (pressure / flow controlled). The line tension will not relax (static pull), irrespective of whether the resistance to the line pull is low or high. This special feature renders the winch capable of monitoring and controlling itself more effectively than would be feasible by manually controlling the line speed and pull.
